Pokémon Gaia
A polished original journey through Orbtus with six generations represented, Mega Evolution, exploration-focused secrets and a complete route through the Pokémon League.
What kind of adventure is it?
Ancient Orbtus was destroyed by earthquakes, leaving temples, idols and unanswered questions. When seismic activity returns, Professor Redwood recruits new Trainers to investigate. The result is a spoiler-light archaeological adventure built around ruins, exploration and a threat tied to the region's past.
The details that change your playthrough
Orbtus
Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup
All eight Gyms, the main story, Elite Four and Champion are playable through the credits. Version 3.2 has no postgame.
A polished traditional campaign rather than a dedicated difficulty hack; modern mechanics broaden team-building options.
Full main-story campaign through the League; the developer does not publish an official hour count.
Includes original tracks for locations and major battles alongside adapted Pokémon music.
Why it stands out
- A fully original region and archaeology-led story with eight Gyms and the Pokémon League
- Pokémon from Kanto through Kalos, modern moves, abilities, Fairy type and Mega Evolution
- Hidden grottos, secret temples, underwater maps and exploration rewards
- Original music and a focused set of quality-of-life upgrades
Known limits
- Version 3.2 reaches the credits and concludes the main story, but it does not include the planned postgame
- Saves from versions 2.5 and earlier are not compatible with the v3 branch
- Not all 721 coded Pokémon are fully functional or catchable; the six-generation claim does not mean a complete living Pokédex
What feels better than the base game?
- Reusable TMs and faster field-move animations
- Indoor running and Repel reuse prompts
- Experience gained when catching Pokémon
- Modern items, abilities, physical/special split and Fairy type
Players who value a believable new region, classic pacing, exploration and a story that reaches a satisfying League conclusion.
Wait if a finished postgame is essential or if you plan to continue a save created before version 3.0.
