About Pocket Deal Radar: purpose, privacy and sources

What you can do here

• Browse recorded projects in the ROM hack catalog and fangame catalog.
• Use the file tools to check a file or apply a supported patch in your browser. Your selected game and patch files are not uploaded to Pocket Deal Radar.
• Read a project’s recorded version, status and installation requirements before following its creator’s own page.

The catalog is not a complete list of every project. A listing is not a quality rating, a safety verdict or proof that the owner played the game on your device.

Creator sources, not guesses

Game facts need the creator’s own source, the official patch or a documented check or test. Third-party catalogs, community comments and AI answers do not establish confirmed game facts.

Missing details should say “Not stated by the creator”. Older pages are being reviewed against stricter evidence rules; do not assume every legacy record has been rechecked.

AI helps research, organize, draft and edit the site. It is not a source and must not invent play sessions or fill missing facts. How we check explains source dates, file checks, playtest claims and their limits.

One fan, with personal details kept private

One fan runs Pocket Deal Radar. The owner’s name, photo and location are kept private. AI assistance is part of the workflow, not a claim that a separate review team has played every game.

We are not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, The Pokémon Company or any ROM hack team.

Money and editorial independence

The site does not show ads, use affiliate links, accept paid catalog placement or let visitors publish reviews. Paying for a listing or a recommendation is not an option.

Files we do not provide

We do not host or link ROMs, BIOS files, firmware files, prepatched games or mirrors. Our patch tool works with files you select on your own device; it does not supply a base game.

Corrections and creator requests

For a correction or a request about your project, use X @PocketDealRadar. Include the page URL, the game version and the creator source that supports the correction.

Do not send ROMs, BIOS files or private save files. Corrections belong on the existing page, with a dated note explaining the change.
